New solo CD for guitarist Rick Cyge in the works…

“Greetings!  I have finally rolled up my sleeves and committed to recording a solo instrumental “fingerstyle guitar” CD.  It’s been a long time coming!  Since returning to my solo guitar performances, I’ve had frequent requests at gigs for a CD of the music I am playing.  The CD, as yet, unnamed, will feature several of my arrangements of Beatles songs as well as my original treatments of classics by The Hollies, CSNY, The Eagles, Don MCLean, Michael Franks, Acoustic Alchemy and more.  This is the second recording I’ve engineered and mixed at Creekside Studio, our home recording studio.  So far, I’m quite pleased with the results.

Last fall, my good friend and partner in Seymour & Cyge, Chris Seymour and I recorded our first CD, “Are You Happy Now”, a fun collection of “Baby Boomer Classics” that has been well received.  We are already on our second pressing of that release!

Other projects slated for the coming months include a debut CD for Meadowlark’s Celtic “Alter-Ego”, Ally & the Boys followed by a long overdue new recording of original music by Meadowlark.

Hope to see you soon at one of my gigs…”

Warm Regards,
